biography

Painting has accompanied Cida Moraes since childhood, when her contact with colors and drawing became a natural form of expression. Over time, her artistic practice developed through observing the world and engaging in a continuous process of experimentation.

Travel plays an essential role in shaping her visual language, expanding her perception of landscapes, atmospheres, and different life experiences. These journeys are reflected directly in her sensitive way of seeing.

Her work focuses on abstract painting, where color, gesture, and texture become language. Emotions, memories, and inner states emerge freely, without the need for literal representation. The creative process is intuitive, guided by spontaneity and discovery.
